Insurance Data Processing, Inc. (IDP) is proud to introduce InsuraSphere.
InsuraSphere is a revolutionary Internet-based platform (delivered on Software as a Service – SaaS) that lets insurance companies of any size compete with and even beat out the largest carriers.

Insurance companies can now stop worrying about having to pay multi-million dollar licensing fees, paying for and managing servers and having to become technology experts. Instead, our InsuraSphere Internet platform let’s you focus on growing your insurance business and providing your customers with exceptional service.

IDP has been exclusively serving P&C insurance companies for over 60 years. We’ve leveraged our rich industry expertise and customer insights and joined it with the vision and unparalleled technology and have created a true game changer for P&C insurance companies.

Established in 1949, IDP is one of the oldest and most experienced independent providers of software and services to the property and casualty insurance market. IDP began when a group of five insurance companies and a reinsurance brokerage firm formed an accounting and statistical unit on a cooperative basis.

Subsequent growth resulted in the formation of Mutual Tabulating Services, Inc. in 1953. Then in 1961, with the rapidly growing use of computers and entry of the company into the insurance computer industry as a professional insurance data processing organization, the name of the corporation was changed to Insurance Data Processing, Inc., better known as IDP.

In 1967, IDP was acquired by Marsh & McLennan, Inc. (Guy Carpenter & Co., Inc.), and in 1985 became a part of the Carlino Financial Group, a full service, Philadelphia-based financial organization.
